Autodesk Revit MEP is one of the products of the Autodesk for the field of engineering to provide them not only design solutions but also Digital Prototyping, Revit software helps engineers, designers and contractors across the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and plumbing) disciplines, model to a high level of detail and easily co-ordinate with building project contributors. It is the building information modeling (BIM) software developed by Autodesk for professionals who engage in MEP engineering. By utilizing BIM as opposed to computer-aided drafting (CAD), Revit MEP is able to leverage dynamic information in intelligent models — allowing complex building systems to be accurately designed and documented in a shorter amount of time. Each model created with Autodesk Revit MEP represents an entire project and is kept in a single database file. This allows changes made in one part of the model to be synchronously propagated to other parts of the model, thus enhancing the workflow and for reducing the efforts to duplicate in Revit MEP users.
